What differentiates Act-On from other similar products?
One of the few programs that integrates with Microsoft Dynamics.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Tracks visitor's behavior and translates it into a scoring model
What do you dislike most about this product?
Accessing the information gathered wasn't easy enough, so it got ignored more often than not.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
The program was more of a marketing set of features with some sales features added on. It felt like the sales functionality was just an afterthought.

Act-on is VERY user-friendly!

What differentiates Act-On from other similar products?
While some MAP's are feature-heavy, act-on providers the basics at a level that you can customize and make your own. I have used several MAP's and Act-on was the easiest to onboard, set up, and implement new programs. The platform itself is outdated, but without the fluff, it makes it very simple to navigate and use.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The email customization was simple to use and I made some of my favorite email campaigns using act-on.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The only reason we moved away was the cost to store our very large database was too high. We were able to beat the cost to uphold that size of our database with another company.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Perfect for small and growing companies. May be too small for larger companies.

Good overall product with some limitations

What differentiates Act-On from other similar products?
Good tool for basic email automation and segmentation. Lacks features for more robust personalization and workflows that are typically involved in B2B marketing.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Email Builder tool is excellent.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Not great at workflows.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you're looking for a product that will solve all your marketing automation needs - this is not the best fit. This is better for smaller and more simpler workflows.
