What differentiates Actian DataConnect from other similar products?

It has various options like regex for queries which makes it easier to find and search for data.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It has a powerful engine which loads and processes files quite quickly. It also has a large community that is helpful when one is stuck with a problem. It also can be integrate with majority of software.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Implementation of the software is length and quite complex. It has a big learning curve. It also has its own language RIFL and doesn't use standard languages like c#,java,python etc. This tends to waste time when training staff for using it.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would recommend it. It has a powerful engine that makes things faster though it comes at a price of learning a new language. It is hard to learn initially but learning it makes it worth it.

What differentiates Actian DataConnect from other similar products?

Their implementation team was phenomenal and really stood out as an asset in the early stages of adoption.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The interface is very user friendly and intuitive. I felt the training and learning curve was fair.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The price is very expensive and it can be hard to justify the cost given the size of our company.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Definitely ask for a demo and to connect with a previous customer to hear about their experience and use cases.
