Adobe Commerce Cloud the best choice and excellent

What differentiates Adobe Commerce from other similar products?

Adobe Commerce Cloud (ACC) is a new package offering that provides companies with a flexible and scalable end-to-end platform to manage, personalize and optimize the commerce experience at every touchpoint and across the entire customer journey. Adobe Commerce Cloud takes Magento Commerce (the enterprise offering, not the open source version of Magento) one step further by making it possible to integrate seamlessly with Adobe Experience Manager.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

One of the exciting benefits of Adobe Commerce is that it connects seamlessly with Adobe Experience Manager. If this is your preferred UI for building your shopping experience, Adobe Commerce may be for you. Adobe Commerce also supports the use of progressive web apps. Beyond that, it's up to you as the seller to develop your own extension or explore third-party solutions.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Adobe Commerce Cloud is far from suitable for all vendors. Adobe describes it as an enterprise product, while Magento business is more marketed for the middle market. For many lower and upper midsize businesses, the cost of Adobe Commerce Cloud and the development work required not only to get it up and running but also to maintain it is not worth it. For these businesses, a better choice may be to work with a SaaS platform such as BigCommerce that allows customization but has a lower total cost of ownership.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

To create, launch, and maintain an Adobe Commerce Cloud store, you will need a developer, in-house IT team, and/or an agency to manage creation and maintenance. Magento (and thus Adobe Commerce Cloud) has an extremely comprehensive setup that incurs high costs to complete builds. Building an enterprise-grade store can cost more than six figures and can scale quickly based on the complexity of the build, design, extensions, and additional integrations required.

Pros

  • Trustworthy
  • Client's Interest First
  • Continually Improving Product
  • Performance Enhancing

Cons

  • Less Efficient Service
  • Vendor Friendly Policies
