What differentiates Airtable from other similar products?

Airtable allows you to create relationships between records in different tables. This feature, known as linked records, enables users to build complex databases with interconnected data.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I don't have personal feelings or preferences, so I don't have a favorite aspect of any product. However, I can tell you that users often appreciate Airtable for its versatility, user-friendly interface, and the ability to create custom databases without requiring extensive technical skills. Its blend of spreadsheet-like familiarity and database-like functionality makes it popular among those who need a flexible and collaborative tool for managing data.

What do you dislike most about this product?

While Airtable does offer automation features, some users find the automation capabilities to be limited when compared to specialized workflow automation tools.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Begin with a basic setup to familiarize yourself with the platform. As you become more comfortable, you can gradually introduce more complex features and customization.

What differentiates Airtable from other similar products?

Airtable has been a complete workspace, not just an app to take notes or manage tasks for me. I can create pages, databases, boards, lists... anything. What I need, I can do: pages, databases, boards, lists, whatever. From team sprints to technical documentation, this has helped me keep everything in one place as a developer. Also, the code integration is great: I can embed blocks of code in your notes and see them with the right syntax highlighting.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Meetings, documentation, databases, frontends and backends are the constant in my life. I have all my information spread out in a thousand places: notes, documents, tasks and codes.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The mobile version lacks the capabilities of the desktop version, but still works well enough. Compared to using a computer, checking something quickly on my phone can be a little painful sometimes.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

My workflow has improved dramatically. I made a page on Airtable to document all the endpoints and code samples while developing a new API, and made sure to share the link with the team. Development progressed more rapidly because information was widely accessible to all. The ability to see everything in one place was a huge improvement; it’s also incredibly adaptable, easy to use and packed with capabilities that meet our requirements.

My favorite aspect of Airtable is its flexibility as a hybrid tool that combines the power of a relational database with the simplicity of a spreadsheet.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Some of Airtable's most powerful features, like advanced automations, more robust integrations, and increased record limits, are only available in higher-priced plans
