We were searching for tools like Trifacta because daily reports should be cleaned up, made consistent, and output so that all internal users can access them. Due to the daily receipt of dozens to hundreds of report files, this has greatly reduced the amount of time required.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Trifacta is the only tool that helped me in each step of data preparation e.g cleaning, managing, and many more. I like how I get new ideas when I'm putting together a certain column. The ability to pay only for the amount processed is great since it provides me confidence that I will always have access to a tool and only be charged for what I use that doesn't burdens me and totally enjoy it.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I'm not sure if it's a hardware or connection issue, but one issue that I faced with it was occasionally the tool is really slow for me or unanticipated failures happen where we weren't able to open data. The tool is fantastic, however, occasionally things like these do occur. I'll start making a list of issues and performing mostly point-and-click transposition actions.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I’m in machine learning and AI as an information analyst. Trifacta by far is that the most convenient software system I have utilized by far. I’m ready to produce flows and save them so as to use those data transformations again after we run similar reporting. Trifacta is simple to select up and play, to import, cleanse data and export to a different system (in our case Bigquery) is basically simple and intuitive. What do you dislike most about this product?

There are small things that basically get to me when using the tool. One, after I copy recipes they don’t perpetually copy each step. Thus I actually have to double check them and then return and fix the step. Thus solely obtaining a half copy. Sometimes the tools doesn’t behave the way i believe it ought to when doing steps. I have used 2 different versions of the tool and once you aren’t on the Trifacta hosted version you get fewer sampling options. You’re going to need the stratified option when sampling. Conjointly sampling, if you are operating with a large data set you’re going to need to sample A LOT. Get’ terribly old quick.
