What differentiates Amazon EC2 from other similar products?

The different service providers are quite mutually exclusive, and one cannot easily use more than one at the same time without dealing with network slowness, etc. So once some companies start with AWS EC2, it's very hard to switch seamlessly. But AWS EC2 is quite good on its own compared to the others out there and can provide almost everything a team needs with minimal effort.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Testing. Spinning up an EC2 virtual machine to test applications, services, etc is invaluable.

What do you dislike most about this product?

This service is a bit difficult to consume. New users need a big learning curve to use this service effectively.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) is extremely useful for small virtual servers. For instance, we use EC2 instances for inexpensive unified cloud controllers

What differentiates Amazon EC2 from other similar products?

Amazon is a pioneer at its cloud based solutions. EC2 is very simple to use and is configured easily if you're certified. Its pricing model is great.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Scalability and Reliability. Amazon has won the trust with its 99.999997% availability. I can scale the instances up and down based on traffic and processing and simply save on those bucks.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It needs you to be certified and knowledgeable. Its not a layman task.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you want your businesses to grow and have Amazon do the server side work for you, just close your eyes and trust them. They have a great customer outreach and excellent troubleshooting.
