What differentiates Amazon EC2 from other similar products?
Amazon web services AWS is the innovative public cloud supplier and this can be the most effective public cloud service I have ever seen. We are using AWS for a long time and we like the options and output, using this cloud we can not run our web application also the mobile application seamlessly. AWS provides many choices regarding the servers and instances, I can choose EC2, RDS, Lamda, Redshift, and lots more, these all are nice and works seamlessly. I may want the on-demand servers that are expensive however only I want to pay once I use these servers, on another hand, I have the choice to go for the reserve servers that save my cost.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The dashboard or the console is very straightforward to use and I will see all my usage and reports, I can see the recommendation to minimize the cost, and additionally, I have all the visibility in this dashboard. The servers are auto-scaled up and down and this can be nice. AWS helps us to run seamlessly web applications and supply great business services. Therefore my overall experience using AWS is incredibly good.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The worst part of AWS is the high value of the support package, yes the business support package and also the premium support package cost are very very high, therefore this is often the one and the only issue that I dislike the most.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It is best for building serverless apps because it can communicate with almost all the services found in Aws moreover as outside apps like Jumpcloud. Thus I’ll recommend others they’ll use it as it only prices for the actual trigger instead of reserving an entire server.
Pros
- Enables Productivity
- Inspires Innovation

What differentiates Amazon EC2 from other similar products?
AWS always seems to be market leader when it comes to new services it can offer. Azure lags behind, and is nice if already a microsoft shop. AWS though is market leader and for our first time moving into cloud wanted something well understood and reliable
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
AWS always is putting out new tools that make migrations or our experience of the product easier. New ways to host servers, which give us more options of control. We also like ability to get great community and technician support in incoming new hires because it is such a widely used platform.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The documentation can be overly complex if you are just leaning about a module. The support for some products can be very painful too, for instance working with Snowball was very frustrating when we had issues and could not get in contact with anyone.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
For anyone looking to move into the cloud, I would say make sure you know what your willing to spend and understand what that trade off is for an on-prem similarity. Generally try to use AWS for its platform and not just moving servers onto EC2.
