What differentiates Amazon EC2 from other similar products?

EC2 rules the cloud playground, global reach, and clever discounts. But that premium power comes with premium pricing.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect is how EC2 scales easily you don't have to worry when traffic spikes. The ability of launching servers worldwide in minutes is awesome!

What do you dislike most about this product?

The billing headaches. Costs sneak up on you (especially with data transfer and 'forgotten' test instances).

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

turn on billing alerts immediately and use Cost Explorer. Start small with Spot Instances or Savings Plans to cut expenses.

EC2 is basically the foundation of cloud computing for any serious engineering team. The biggest differentiator? Flexibility. Whether you need a single virtual machine for development or a cluster of instances to handle high-traffic applications, EC2 scales with you

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The auto-scaling and load balancing are absolute lifesavers. Instead of manually provisioning and de-provisioning instances, EC2 automatically adjusts based on traffic demands

What do you dislike most about this product?

EC2 is not for the faint of heart, especially if you’re new to AWS. Security configurations, networking settings, IAM roles—it’s a lot to get right, and one small misconfiguration can lead to serious vulnerabilities

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If your team needs full control over cloud infrastructure, EC2 is essential. Just make sure you have cloud engineers or DevOps specialists who know their way around AWS to avoid unnecessary costs and security risks
