What differentiates Amazon Kinesis from other similar products?

Its a very reliable tool for data streaming, plus it supports multiple regions. Highly scallble and can handle lots of messages per day in our AWS stack.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It integrates seamlessly with other AWS services without any fuss, services like S3, SNS, SQS and Lambda are all very easy to integrate with Kinesis.

What do you dislike most about this product?

A little slow compared to few other tools, Price is also on a little higher side, if not monitored it can be a little difficult to manage. Setup and configuration can be a little complex for someone new to Kinesis

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Currently Improvements in dashboard can help for better visualization. Kinesis should provide some way to see messages like SQS without loosing any messages

What differentiates Amazon Kinesis from other similar products?

It provides realtime and coming in as streaming information - which should be handled in realtime to play out specific activities. We use kinesis information stream to recieve this information - and process it utilizing lambda

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Kinesis information stream helps you set up and work with streaming information. It is not difficult to utilize and has great mix with rest of the AWS biological system like S3, SNS, SQS, and Lambda. It is exceptionally versatile and handles a great many messages each day in our AWS stack

What do you dislike most about this product?

I don't have any such points.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I believe that it would totally change your business in terms of cost and time saving.
