What differentiates Arctera Insight Archiving from other similar products?

It provide the best email archiving solution that is transparent compared to similar products. Also has a simple GUI that is self explanatory.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It is easy to install, configure and maintain. Also has excellent customer support.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The App perfectly meet our needs and there nothing to dislike so far.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

When archiving, Veritas Enterprise Vault is the best solution since we have tested it. Highly recommends.

What differentiates Arctera Insight Archiving from other similar products?

With Veritas Enterprise Vault, it becomes easy to manage business data. We can easily decide which files to archive and also makes it easy to searching and recover archived data. In addition, it is highly secure and scalable

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like the file search feature as it makes it easy and fast to recover archived data. The software is scalable and offers some of the best security features. I like that file recovery is easy

What do you dislike most about this product?

Veritas Enterprise Vault is not the most affordable software in it's category.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

While Veritas Enterprise Vault is not the most affordable, it offers some great features for data archiving more so security and recovery features.

What differentiates Arctera Insight Archiving from other similar products?

Veritas Enterprise Vault has two functions. First, it makes it easy to manage which data your retain while ensuring an easy way to archive and retrieve data when need be.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The software is affordable thanks to its scalable capabilities The software is very secure Archiving, searching, and retrieving data is easy

What do you dislike most about this product?

The user interface is not the best

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you need a archiving solution that works, then you should try Veritas Enterprise Vault. It has worked for us and I can recommend it with confidence having used it first hand.

Data Compression Allows for more data to be stored on media. Data compression can potentially slow down access times to the data

Data Format Native Generic Offers multiple options from native proprietary format to industry-standard generic format to restore or import onto any target system

Granularity 'The granular storage of data, such that it can be searched and recovered in an expedient manner.

Long Term Data Retention The software should have fault tolerant abilities in order to recover from minor data corruptions. Depends largely on the media (such as tapes)

Storage Optimization 'Storage optimization, unlike std. backup & restore, is for long term data storage, organizing it to find & restore information easily

Data Deletion Control and Space Gain The ability to reclaim valuable hard drive space freed due to the data archiving process based on the software’s successful confirmation & verification

Restore to Current Format Ability to restore to whichever “current” format the organization has in place at the time of archive data restoration

External Storage Connectivity Data archiving usually stores data on external, removable media that is optimized for long-term storage, at an offsite location.
