What is AutoCAD?

AutoCAD is computer-aided design (CAD) software that is used for precise 2D and 3D drafting, design, and modeling with solids, surfaces, mesh objects, documentation features, and more. It includes features to automate tasks and increase productivity such as comparing drawings, counting, adding objects, and creating tables. It also comes with seven industry-specific toolsets for electrical design, plant design, architecture layout drawings, mechanical design, 3D mapping, adding scanned images, and converting raster images. AutoCAD enables users to create, edit, and annotate drawings via desktop, web, and mobile devices.

Ease of access. Terms of use.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Easy to learn even for someone who have not used the software before. If focused one can learn to use this software within 2 months. Great product to work with. Very easy to work. Even sharing the final finished product is easy and fast.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Pricing. Selection of colors is constrained.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Maybe reduce price. Accept different types of files as input

What differentiates AutoCAD from other similar products?

The easy of making the drawings with shortcut keys.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Drawings are generated in way where it can be easily integrated with printers of A1 size, which I use the most.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Cost is a bit on the higher side

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If they are working with architecture drawings and stuffs like that, this is the best software

AutoCAD is easier to use than any other software. It is an industry standard software with versatile capabilities. It comes with a wide range of tools for designing, drafting, and annotating, making it suitable for various industries, from architecture to engineering.

Its not as efficient in 3D as it is in 2D

AutoCAD is the best for drafting and design. It has a wealth of tutorials, online courses, and forums available. Invest time in learning the software to maximize its potential
