What differentiates AWS Backup from other similar products?

AWS backup support for PITR ( point in time recovery ) when managing databases is a key differentiator , when compared with other substitute recovery platforms. AWS support for PITR reduces the volume of data loss if ever there is an event which leads us to lose data , while giving us better control of recovery protocols , unlike what is obtainable with regular backup solution providers.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The strongest reason to use AWS backup and obviously what I have enjoyed the most about AWS backup is its serverless design. Which makes it able to adjust to the immediate backup needs of my organization in real time. This obviously saves my organization a lot of resources and eliminate the need to manage resources that we do not currently have a use for.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Integrations between Amazon web service (AWS) backup and non-Amazon or third party reporting or monitoring platforms is limited.. I also think that the backup implementation process on AWS backup doesn't meet our expectations and complete business needs.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I recommend that teams looking to deploy AWS backup properly connects their recovery time objective with their immediate business needs or requirements.

What differentiates AWS Backup from other similar products?

Aws backup ensures automatic backup of projects emails and data periodically making our organisation data available during threats with providing at most security

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Easy to integrate and ability to automate the backups with set time periods

What do you dislike most about this product?

Price could be considered costlier compared to other options in market but can counter with the security it provides

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The control panel and UI can be improved, currently need special training for new users

Virtual Machine Backup Automatically discovers and protects VMs as they come online, move, and change. Production VMs are replicated to a secondary data store.

Backup Monitoring and Reporting Backup and replication are continually monitored for status and effectiveness. Detailed reporting is available on successful and unsuccessful operations.

Backup Automation Solution automates backup, recovery and remediation tasks using RestAPI and CLI to integrate with 3rd party solutions, reduce cost and enforce standards.

Automated Backup Testing and Verification Goes beyond monitoring whether backup jobs completed by verifying the integrity of data restoration.
