What differentiates AWS Glue from other similar products?

AWS Glue and Azure Data Factory both provide a variety of data connectors. Connectors let the services connect to data stores that serve as data sources Pricing also very nice Methods of aws glue prodies very effective way

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Deduplicate and cleanse data with built-in machine learning (ML) AWS Glue helps clean and prepare your data for analysis without you having to become an ML expert. Its FindMatches feature deduplicates and finds records that are imperfect matches of each other.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Nothing to dislike Need to get more efficient way to get data ...

What differentiates AWS Glue from other similar products?

AWS Glue has many key features that differentiate it from other similar products in the market. And a few of the features which I like the most from others is as follows: 1. Serverless architecture: AWS Glue operates on the serverless architecture, this means you do not have to scale your resources up or down depending on the workload, AWS does it for you automatically. 2. Automation of ETL: AWS Glue contains a library that helps us to generate ETL code automatically, which in turn reduces the manual work done by the user. 3. Integration with other AWS resources; AWS Glue can be easily integrated with other AWS resources.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect of AWS Glue is data integration which can be performed with minimal effort from the user, this is possible because of the breadth of the features that are provided by AWS Glue. I highly work with the Data catalog feature that is used for data integration, it acts as a centralized repository for organizing and storing the metadata. AWS Glue makes my job less manual and also less error-prone.

What do you dislike most about this product?

As AWS Glue comes with a serverless architecture, the users have very limited control over the infrastructure, so it restricts them from doing any customizations. Along with this, currently, it only supports Python and Scala programming languages, it would be great if they can support other programming languages as well,

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you are someone who is looking for an ETL tool that comes a with lot of features and great vendor support, AWS Glue is your answer. It satisfies all of your data needs, has good support from the vendor, is very less error-prone, in budget cost, and has good data security.
