My favorite aspect of Azure DevOps is its comprehensive toolset that supports the entire development lifecycle. From version control to automated deployment, it streamlines processes and improves collaboration for development teams.

What do you dislike most about this product?

What I dislike most about Azure DevOps is its steep learning curve, especially for users who are new to DevOps tools. The interface can feel overwhelming at first, and mastering its extensive features requires a significant time investment.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I recommend Azure DevOps for teams looking for a comprehensive, integrated solution to manage the entire development lifecycle. However, be prepared to invest time in learning the platform, as its features and interface can be complex for new users.

What differentiates Azure DevOps from other similar products?

It has amazing capabilities like version controlling, package management & maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Seamless integration with other azure services that gives better connectivity.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It has multi language support. Third party integration like Docker or Jenkins. It is well compatible with every OS. It is giving robust security and follows industry security compliance. It has inbuilt analytical features that saves our efforts in doing analytics.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Very happy with the services. Not yet faced any issue.

Highly recommend for every small and large organisation. it improves project scalability.

What differentiates Azure DevOps from other similar products?

Azure DevOps offers ease of integration with other Microsoft in-house tools and as well as other well known third party tools. Pipelines can be either created from scratch or using scripts stored in a code repo. It allows the job to be segmented into multiple stages and incase of any failure the failed stages alone can be rerun from the portal making the deployment process hassle free.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

There is no restriction on the number of pipelines that can be create and variable groups can be create unique or shared among different pipelines. It can also be set up to alert the user incase of any pipeline failure and also for success. Scheduled and triggered based pipelines can also be created on the basis of requirement.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Unlike other orchestration tools it does not have any separate feature to store secrets in, they can be stored only as variables and the values can be hidden. Pipeline based user access control is a bit tedious to set up.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Azure DevOps would be the perfect tool if your environment is built using other Microsoft products. The learning curve is not huge and the users can get familiar in a very short span.
