Agile Software For Project management
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Azure DevOps from other similar products?
Azure DevOps being a microsoft product integrates well into our Microsoft ecosystem. The DevOps is quite flexible, especially the TFS and Visual studio. Unlike Github Azure DevOps is great in managing repos. Finally the pipelines feature is one to die for, as it can be deployed both on-premises and cloud.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My most favorite aspect in Microsoft Azure is the Azure DevOps studio. I am mostly intrigued by the freedom to communicate with your project's team members whilst you view or edit on the code review screen.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There are very few pipeline examples available while you start. Scrum, boards look pretty traditional. It does not blend with most non-microsoft DevOps tools.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would highly recommend Microsoft Azure to anyone looking for a robust CI/CD pipeline. If your ecosystem shouts microsoft then this DevOps would be a great fit. It's a robust way to build release pipelines and deploy large apps much faster.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing
