What differentiates Basecamp from other similar products?

The ease of configuration of the program is easier than in other programs.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I enjoy how the calendar, to-dos, and message board all work together to keep everyone on track, whether you're working on a single project or a number of them. New features in Basecamp's new lineup will help project work go forward; what I like most is that I can make thorough notes, attach photos, and interact with colleagues and graphic designers in the comments; it has a less convoluted process than Monday.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I find it inconvenient that a due date is assigned to a chart, but I have no means of knowing whether the designer has really started working on it before that date arrives. What I don't like is that each section has a history of previously accomplished activities, which may quickly fill up the screen real estate. When I don't want to archive the whole list, I only want to wipe off a few completed tasks from the list.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

To keep track of all your projects, Basecamp is a great way to provide clear instructions, and to get feedback. Basecamp is by far the best project management tool I've ever used, and I've tried a lot of other ones. For any company, I highly recommend this tool since customers may access individual to-dos/lists and can reserve certain things for the internal staff.
