What differentiates Basecamp from other similar products?

Ease of use is the strong point of Basecamp, which makes task tracking simple and immediate. The different sections such as to-dos, schedule and message board keep everything organized

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The interface is easy and intuitive and allows you to make the best use of the tool right from the start. The task creation system and subsequent notifications via email and mobile application complete the product.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It's not a native kanban board right now, and a few tricks are required. There are no sub-tasks and lower levels of tasks

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Basecamp is an excellent tool to manage and track ongoing activities and plan the backlog with future initiatives

What differentiates Basecamp from other similar products?

Very organized layout and cleaner UI compared to many similar products.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I especially like the clean UI and the ease of use.

What do you dislike most about this product?

You need to complement Basecamp with another tool if you want to cover the financial part of your business.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Try the Personal version for free before you commit to a long-term subscription.

What differentiates Basecamp from other similar products?

In our organisation, there are multiple clients. We have created project on for each client on basecamp. All the employees who are a part of that project are added in that particular basecamp project. By using basecamp, team members are able to track activites of each and every member. This has helped in smooth project functioning. We are able to upload project files which are accessed by team members.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The best thing i like about basecamp is the activity panel. The activity panel shows activities performed by the project members under every project. It shows a timeline of activites from old to latest along with date, time, username, message, file name and attachments. It helps me to understand project flow and what work has been completed and what is remaining. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike most about this product?

All the features provided by basecamp are useful. Hence i did not find anything that needs to be disliked.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It is easy to make an assignment and share it with your team.
