What differentiates BigTime from other similar products?

Flexibility to examine time sheets for profit margins, time usage, business initiatives, simple billing with the ability to change time, and time sheet creation on the fly We require tools to anticipate revenue and processes. We also need to know where we stand in terms of project finances so that we may change our level of effort or manpower accordingly. Less significant, but still intriguing, is the ability to go back and see where we fared well/poorly in terms of finishing projects on time and on budget, as well as our success rates for various sorts of projects.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Time tracking and interface simplification It includes a lot of functionality and flexibility; for example, you may build custom fields for both projects and clients to monitor the data that is vital to your specific area of business. The Quickbooks connectivity is good, with the option to push/pull data and, once again, modify how you do it so that you don't overwrite key Quickbooks data. They also appear to be quite sensitive to the onboarding process, which I appreciate, and the related price isn't too expensive.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Before you can complete sales tax information, you must first integrate with QuickBooks. Some of the terminologies used in the presentation were also difficult to understand because my sector employs different language. For some, the UI might be daunting, and the learning curve can be high (as with any feature-rich product). In addition, there is a general lack of visualizations to assist you make sense of your data. There is an initial dashboard that appears when you log in, but it does not appear to be adjustable and only contains four charts to provide a picture of your business's health.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Reps are prepared to set up your free trial using your Quickbooks data, which seems like a wonderful opportunity to test it out and see whether it's a suitable fit for you. If your company does not use QB Online, it may be a bit of a bother because it will involve manual coding on the back end to obtain information such as tax rates, etc. BigTime also crashes in different browsers and doesn't let us pick date ranges. However, there are workarounds, and I now use Edge just to bill and pick date ranges.

What differentiates BigTime from other similar products?

The major issue that has been resolved is time tracking. I like how I can start a stopwatch and it will update the timesheet immediately. We must continually allocate our team/resources to in-house and client-facing tasks, and BigTime reporting enables us to do so. We may also examine individual project tracking, corporate profitability tracking, and personnel usage (and forecasting). It's priceless to be able to do the reports I need for my business on my own time.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I want a solution that would assist my staff in tracking time and managing tasks. This checked all of those boxes and then some. The SalesForce and QuickBooks connectors are fantastic. Almost every part is editable, so I can use my team's terminology. This cut down on our preparation time, which saved us money. The report and all of its features. We're doing a lot for our business using BigTime, and having a spot for a lot of necessary business operations is fantastic. The BigTime team's exceptional service is the frosting on the cake.

What do you dislike most about this product?

BigTime's user interface isn't the most user-friendly. Although it is a standard interface (file folder arrangement), incorporating the information may necessitate a number of clicks. Furthermore, it took me a long time to learn that the optimal use case is to use many browser tabs to acquire information, but this necessitates a large number of browser tabs.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

This is an excellent piece of software for keeping track of all aspects of your clients and tasks. Use the trial version to discover how much time you and your team will save. If you use QuickBooks, you should absolutely use the integration tool; it made the setup procedure much more quick and simple. When it comes to cost, there is tremendous benefit in optimizing the tool.

It is the ideal billing platform for your business

What differentiates BigTime from other similar products?

Before the implementation of BigTime in our company, our billing system was a headache, since it took a lot of time to track the details and execution of each client, so we have certainly seen a positive change regarding the billing of customers since we decided to implement BigTime in the company. We use BigTime to create our invoices, and it has been a great solution as BigTime continuously monitors in real time all the details needed to create the corresponding invoices.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

BigTime is a program that provides a completely integrated time and billing system intended for professionals in order to simplify and keep track of all ongoing activities as well as produce the related bills to clients for the service provided, whether consulting, accounting, computer support, etc. BigTime is completely complete since it controls the work in progress (WIP), the flow of tasks, and it is in charge of gathering all of the essential data to create the detail of the client's bills. If you already have Quick Books, this is a wonderful addition, project management tools are connected with your existing accounting software.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The control of entry and exit times of each registry executed is one of the many inconveniences we encountered with BigTime, despite the fact that it is a solution that comes integrated with very useful functions for any company. Nevertheless, overall, our experience with this tool was positive because it is simple to integrate with other platforms and produces better results.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

This is unquestionably the best choice if you have bilingual staff and want a manager to record time for you. BigTime collaborates with project management and resource management, for which our company is extremely satisfied with the features of this software and without a doubt it is in charge of making recommendations to other companies to start implementing within them. It is important to emphasize that BigTime goes beyond its billing system.
