What differentiates Bridge LMS from other similar products?

We went with Bridge because of the additional tools that we could potentially use down the road (i.e. performance management and goal setting). For now, we only use the LMS, though. We love how easy it is for our employees and it's also compatible with SCORM files, which give us much more flexibility as far as course authoring. They do have an authoring tool within the LMS, which is great for managers that would like to put a quick course together, but wouldn't know how to use our more robust authoring software.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

How can I pick just one aspect?! I love the ability to create smart groups using job titles, departments, and even managers. We can then assign a course to a smart group so that new employees that fit the criteria will automatically have the appropriate courses assigned to them. I also love the "Programs" and "Journeys" which allow us to set the learning path for new hires. The learning library is also critical for us as we like to foster growth from within the company so employees can go to the library and learn about other roles so they can build their knowledge to possibly be promoted to a different department or role.

What do you dislike most about this product?

While the authoring tool is so simple to use and keeps things looking clean, I would love to have a little more flexibility with a few things. For instance, when introducing a process, I can't include images within a numbered bullet list. I have to have the numbered list with text only and then include all images below that. When I try to put an image in between items 1 and 2, for example, the numbers below the image restart at 1 again. We also wish that there was a better way to organize courses in the learning library. You can assign tags to each course and then learners can filter with tags, but the ability to create folders would be nice.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you get Bridge LMS, it should be for the analytics as well as the ease of use for yourself and for your learners. I wouldn't recommend this tool if it's going to be the only authoring tool that you use. But if you have an external authoring tool such as Articulate 360 or Adobe Captivate, you'll love Bridge.

It's a nice and simple LMS that provides what you need to deliver learning.

It was easy to move things around and structure within the LMS.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Their inability to make large enhancements to stay up with other LMS and charging a large amount per person for other features.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Really consider what you're wanting in your LMS. Are you really wanting just a platform to organize and deliver learning content, or are you wanting an overall learning experience allowing for coaching, mentorship, social learning, etc. and what that means for your budget. Bridge will cost a LOT for those other features beyond just basic LMS.
