What differentiates Canto Platform from other similar products?

Image Relay has some great quality features on how to organize your digital assets - from "Templates" to "Tags" and customizable meta data. With the right implementation and a push to learn image relay and how it can be best utilized, it makes a great, reliable digital asset library that can be used for easy collaboration.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I love the ability to customize it - it also offers a huge benefit of storing your digital assets for easy sharing, collaborating and viewing from anywhere you need.

What do you dislike most about this product?

This product is not the most intuitive. The continued training is not there for users who were not involved in implementation (I cannot speak to there being enough training support upon implementation). It is a bit clunky to figure out and there isn't a lot of supporting documents to help you. It's really trial and error and requires creating good ground work for your organization and assets from the very start.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would recommend that you advocate for Image Relay to support you through implementation to ensure your success. Image relay is a great asset but training and understanding of how to best organize things before they get too far are an ABSOLUTE MUST. Get some flow charts for how folders will be organized and consider the permissions so as not to expose sensitive info within folders to collaborators they are not meant for. Be sure your employees know how permissions work and set the ground work for templates/metadata/permissions group from the start.

What differentiates Canto Platform from other similar products?

The main aspect of Canto that differentiates it from the rest is the breadth of features it has. It is a powerful tool for managing assets, especially in terms of metadata input.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Canto is a great tool for storing, organizing, and managing our company's digital assets. We especially use this to input photo metadata on our customer's photos from social media. A great feature that helps us in this regard is the mass inputting of metadata.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Canto would be a much better experience to use if it did not feel so 'clunky'. Aside from the old-school style of the UI, there are problems with website intuitiveness. It would be better if the user did not need to take their fingers away from the keyboard when navigating.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Potential buyers and users of this product should consider that Canto is not as immediately intuitive. It also feels clunky while using.

What differentiates Canto Platform from other similar products?

Canto had better features and allows metadata to stay with the assets rather than the DAM if the need arose to leave Canto.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Canto has a great search function, making it easy to find assets even if they haven't been custom tagged.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It does take a while to set up and get all of the assets uploaded.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Make sure that you allot time and energy toward the implementation process.
