What differentiates Canvas from other similar products?
It's so user-friendly and saves me HOURS of setup time for my categories. It’s conjointly allowed me to be versatile throughout crazy Covid times so even if I actually have to modify the modality of my class, I can use canvas as the backbone of my class and do so a lot seamlessly. I like the very fact that Canvas permits test banks that pull random queries and randomized answers from your test bank. Really makes it straightforward to form smaller tests that monitor student information while minimizing cheating.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite part regarding Canvas is how straightforward it’s to use. Each assignment and grade is on one single website. I additionally appreciate the calendar and dashboard, as they provide me overviews of what students need to be doing and how they need to do them. As a coaching assistant, I used Canvas to seem at my students’ completed assignments and grade their work. I also announce quizzes for them to complete in class. Canvas created this very easily and efficiently.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Syncing is usually wonky and might be time-consuming. I don’t love how every single assignment seems on the synchronized list, even assignments from a closed grading period.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Because Canvas is a quite common platform, it’s very easy to integrate new and innovative outside applications directly into the LMS. This has made it so easy to bring in a range of learning activities that match multiple learning designs without adding the extra headache and further work of manually getting grades and feedback for these activities into the grade book.

It is very easy to use for both staff and students.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Its simplicity and wide range of features.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Some quizzes I use for surveys or for fun. But if you have canvas synced to PowerSchool, then they automatically upload.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would definitely recommend it. It is very easy to use and allows you to grade quickly using the speed grader function for uploaded documents.
