What differentiates Cisco Secure Firewall from other similar products?

The outstanding feature of Cisco Secure Firewall is the uniqueness of network traffic analysis. Such a proactive step will enable me to track communication patterns and be ready to find any possible security threats early enough. By having a clear picture of the movements of the traffic, we are in a position to be proactive, since we can take measures in advance to prevent threatening situations from degenerating into serious problems. Also, receiving feeds of the threat intelligence can ensure we are aware of the new issues out there to be ahead of the current threats.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like the functional features of access control and policy enforcement that are provided by Cisco Secure Firewall. With accurate access control policies, we will be in a position to be sure that only the relevant people deal with sensitive information. This is an essential level of control in order to secure our internal communications. These protocols also can be easily managed and altered, when our needs change, by use of the intuitive interface.

What do you dislike most about this product?

A possible way to better it may be the reporting capabilities. Although the dashboard is instructive in terms of its data presentation, it would be ideal to have the opportunity to create customized reports that address the requirements of particular interested customers, hence improving our communication on the security status.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

My exposure to the Cisco Secure Firewall device has been so much in expressing positive results. It gives me the assurance that I can ensure the security of our internal communication systems. I am confident enough now to focus on my work, unlike before when security issues kept coming up in my mind, since it has all the protections that I need.

What differentiates Cisco Secure Firewall from other similar products?

Unique features like customizable NGIPS rules, network discovery, and integration with AMP to prevent attacks like ransomware

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Cisco Talos security updates are the best, and integration with devices like AD, ISE, and AMP is simple. The GUI tabs are very easy to use.

What do you dislike most about this product?

hardware and license prices are very expensive, and the initial setup takes some time

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Great NGFW with easy management, unique features and more VPN options, but the price is high. Compare with other vendors before buying
