What differentiates Cisco Secure Firewall from other similar products?
There are a lot of benefits of Cisco's next-generation firewalls including the ability to filter websites, provide malware and advanced threat protection, and enable the creation of policies based on applications rather than just IP addresses and ports. Its pricing structure is reasonable and simple to comprehend. I have been maintaining Cisco ASA firewalls for clients for several years now, and they never let me down.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It's straightforward to use, with lots of distinct tabs that display each setting, instructions that outline each step, and a command line setting that is especially helpful if we don't have access to ASDM. When we purchased Cisco Next-Generation Firewall, we were uncertain about our choice, but it worked wonderfully, and I am now quite happy with it.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Actually, there aren't many more things, in particular, that bothers me. But, like other Cisco ASAs, some tasks are extremely difficult to complete using the CLI; it appears that Cisco wants us to utilize the web app. It was a little difficult in ASA, and in the Firepower module, we have to use HTTP.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Cisco Next-Generation Firewall is really simple to set up, and you may use this one firewall for a variety of purposes. Automatic signature updating for activities like DDoS and virus defense, as well as the assimilation of firewall solutions with internet services as a whole, are all available for users' ease.
Pros
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable
- Enables Productivity
- Efficient Service

What differentiates Cisco Secure Firewall from other similar products?
Cisco ASA is a cloud-based advanced firewall solution that can guard against outside networks and change NAT in various ways. This is a reliable tool that can be used from anywhere. Allows users to securely connect to the internet via VPN and protects them from outside dangers.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
End-users could quickly understand the system thanks to Cisco's mobile and web application, which is compatible with any mobile device. They also provide superb security for users who do not wish to keep their cell phones on them at all times at work. If you're migrating from a newer ASA or FTD, Cisco provides a migration tool to make the process easier.
What do you dislike most about this product?
ASDM, which is now used to handle ASA, should be replaced with something more suitable. ASDM needs a fresh look, and for a better user experience, new UI, methods to use, settings, and other features should be added or built. The user interface can lag at times, which can be annoying.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Cisco ASA is a cutting-edge next-generation firewall security solution. It's beneficial in securing your network and data centres of all sizes. Its automated threat controls, part of its Intrusion Prevention System, have saved a lot of money. The product incorporates security intelligence. It is up to you to decide how to handle it.
