It's a one-stop shop for all things data and AI, from engineering to machine learning, making teamwork easier. Built on open-source tools, it avoids vendor lock-in and lets you use the latest tech. Plus, it works on all the major clouds, giving you freedom of choice.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

the lakehouse architecture. This innovative approach elegantly solves the long-standing problem of managing and analyzing data across disparate systems. By combining the cost-effectiveness and scalability of data lakes with the data management and performance of data warehouses, Databricks offers a unified and efficient platform for all data workloads. My favourite feature is the collaborative notebooks.

The learning curve for non-technical user or those unfamiliar with Spark can be steep.

Monitor cluster usage to manage cost effectively in Databricks. Also, integrate Databricks with your existing BI tool for maximum value.

Databricks DIP is great 'cause: It stores all kinds of data easily with its Lakehouse setup. It works with lots of tools and doesn't tie you down to one. It's all about Machine Learning, making data, ML, and insights in one place. You can pick which cloud you want to use. It can handle a ton of data without breaking a sweat.
