It have all options to monitor the application, network and System as well

APM tool is my favorite aspect

Cost and Complexity for the new users to do the admin

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

First check the cost then all are okay go with the free trail check all features if everything works fine then go ahead.

What differentiates Datadog from other similar products?

What sets Datadog apart is its incredible integration ecosystem and unified platform approach. Unlike competitors who often require multiple tools, Datadog brings logs, metrics, APM, and security monitoring under one roof. The real-time collaboration features and built-in correlation between different data types make troubleshooting much faster than with other solutions I've used.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect is definitely the dashboard creation experience. The flexibility to combine different data sources, create custom widgets, and share live dashboards with teammates is fantastic. I love how I can drag-and-drop elements, use template variables, and quickly clone dashboards to create new views. It's intuitive yet powerful.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The pricing model can be a pain point - it's not always transparent how costs will scale as your usage grows. We've had some surprise bills when certain metrics spiked. Also, the number of features and options can be overwhelming at first, making it tough for new team members to get up to speed without dedicated training.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you're considering Datadog, I'd recommend starting with a focused use case rather than trying to implement everything at once. Begin with infrastructure monitoring or APM, get comfortable with that, then expand.
