Great product, feature work great and easy to use

What differentiates Datadog from other similar products?
Dashboard is intuitive and easy to use. Setup is easy. Small footprints in the system. Host auto discovery saves times.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Event relations and management for tracing help save my neck a couple time. Alerting system also help me mitigate crisis earlier.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The host price base can see improvement in the era of auto scaling.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Setup correct probes and data monitoring. Have alerting lower than your ideal threshold just to be safe. In case you use kubernetes, be careful with setting since we once faced case where each pod is registered as individual host that blows cost out of proportions.

What differentiates Datadog from other similar products?
Other platforms are also highly competitive but the paid version is pricey, creating and customizing dashboards can be difficult, whereas Datadog makes it simple to customize the dashboard. It isn't time-consuming and simple to get the results we need quickly by searching logs.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
There are a lot of aspects that I like about Datadog but the integrations are extremely useful to me. It enables us to see more metrics that provide a more in-depth look at specific applications and these metrics enable us to comprehend what is widely monitored in the industry. In addition, I like Datadog, it is available 24/7, and the best part is that it is a software that is both simple to use and implement, as well as it allows us to choose the monitoring parameters that we want to use.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I had some issues in understanding each component and learning how to use it takes time and the initial setup can be confusing. It wasn't so easy to change our code's logging format as to implement a large number of parsers to improve log interpretation.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Datadog is a great monitoring and visualization tool for any organization. It's an ideal monitoring solution, and I'd recommend it; it contains everything you need. Some of the features are as follows: great visualizations, simple dashboards/monitors with math options such as ratios, and intervals. Furthermore, it's simple to integrate with other applications.

What differentiates Datadog from other similar products?
The dashboard visuals are really great. Unsure as to whether there is a product that is similar however I am yet to come across one.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Has an intuitive dashboard system that offers visualization and helps to extensively monitor our systems.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It is quite confusing at first to configure and understand how to use from a new user perspective.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Honestly if you are looking for a monitoring software for IT operations and security engineering this is the perfect tool. There is a price attached and it will be a steep learning curve however absolutely worth it.
