What differentiates Datameer Cloud from other similar products?

The Datameer SaaS platform is ideal for information modeling for analysts with all levels of SQL skills. If analysts aren’t technical and like a GUI-based approach, Datameer provides an easy-to-use interface that allows identical results as if the transformations were written directly in Snowflake. Datameer conjointly allows users to modify between the GUI or SQL, or just utilize SQL itself. Another nice issue regarding Datameer is that the transformations are written back to Snowflake as Views instead of Tables, so analysts can store their queries without moving the initial data design.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The tool is easy enough that users with no SQL information can build fairly complex transformation flows once a brief onboarding tutorial. The bells and whistles are limited, creating for an easy-to-understand and fewer intimidating product for no-code users. But, because you’ll use SQL transformation, users with SQL expertise have all the capabilities of using SQL. Datameer is an easy-to-use ETL platform and needs Less to NO coding skills. Non-technical folks can simply navigate to user interface and build transformations with simply a couple of clicks, SQL advanced logics with just a few clicks. Datameer can be used for information

What do you dislike most about this product?

Because the SaaS platform is still new, there could also be opportunities to make upon the existing transformation tool, however the team is extremely receptive to feedback. The interface needs a bit of work, but I’m certain someone can work that over time. For example, I was attempting to build a fancy transformation with loads of steps, and it became laborious to navigate the flow diagram.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Transforming data is simple with this tool. Giving non-technical users in-database transformation capability could be a huge step toward data democracy for any organization attempting to become a lot of data-driven. Its recommended.
