Fast file access and retrieval. Great foe collaboration of work for teams. Downloading using password is possible.

Some files takes alot of time to download.

It is an ideal tool for large file sharing. It is secure and reliable.

What differentiates Egnyte from other similar products?

I may provide particular privileges for share, view, and edit modes in Egnyte. As a result, no one can access our files. Egnyte enables me to send enormous files to clients without the need for particular file sharing permissions. Egnyte has also evolved into a critical internal tool for rapid file exchange. This approach solves the issue of gathering sensitive financial information from customers. They can upload files straight to a folder I've set up in Egnyte. This saves me a significant amount of time, and if the files are posted to Egnyte, I don't have to download and save them from emails.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Egnyte is an excellent cloud platform that enables everyone in our organization to access project files and information without relying on anybody else. I also like that I can share certain file folders with clients. I like the fact that I can access it via the web, the Android app, and the excellent integration with Windows 10. I enjoy how Egnyte added a new functionality that lets you include the document title in the URL. It makes it far easier to locate files after a link has expired. It is very simple to upload open files to the Egnyte website by dragging and dropping them.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The biggest issue I'm having is storing the Access database in the Engyte folder. Access reports that the database is corrupted around once a week. My database is on OneDrive, while everything else is on Egnyte. You may encounter difficulties in releasing the file for the customer to upload the document. Aside from that, I believe the network does not always load quickly enough, as proven by multiple users, and that when we try to receive/download a file and it takes a long time to download, there is an issue with the server's download speed.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Egnyte is an excellent file sharing program, particularly if you work in numerous locations, with multiple clients, and with different technologies such as Windows and Mac. Organizing by folders makes it much easier to collaborate with yourself and others. External access to individual users' files/folders is totally up to them, and it can be arranged as needed for files that are not shared within the firm. It has served as a file-sharing platform for us. It is practical to keep all documentation on the cloud. One of the advantages is the ability to access data from anywhere in the globe. It is incredibly simple to share files within and outside of your business. Working remotely with other coworkers is as easy as sharing the same cubicle files at work. I can't image traveling for business without Egnyte. I always have everything I need, and I don't have to worry about forgetting to copy anything on my desktop before speaking with the customer.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The desktop software is simple to use and syncs as if it were a mapped disk. If you do not wish to install the desktop client, you may use the web-based interface instead. Fast uploads, as well as the flexibility to limit or delay uploads/downloads if you are traveling or have limited space. They can provide local storage that is mirrored to the cloud for offsite collaboration and sharing. They also provide numerous options for connecting with third-party firms like as Docusign, Teams, Trello, and others. I appreciate the WebEdit tool since it opens your file from Egnyte, opens it on your desktop, and instantly saves it to Egnyte.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Some management policies and settings do not apply to groups. There are a few more factors that must be tweaked. There was a desktop sync option that synchronized data from your desktop to Egnyte. It's a shame they don't have it anymore because you could work in your Egnyte folder directly from your desktop and everything would sync.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Egnyte is a reputable file-sharing site. I have never had any difficulties viewing the files. There is the option of using a desktop program or immediately accessing the online portal via a web browser. It is a reliable and necessary tool for ensuring efficient collaboration both in the workplace and remotely. You have constant access to your files, regardless of where you are or whether you have your computer with you. You can always log in and acquire what you need as long as you have internet connection and a computer. Check "Connected Folders" for personal information, especially if the desktop is being diverted to the network.
