What differentiates Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention from other similar products?

With transparency and management worldwide our people are working and wherever our data stays, Forcepoint DLP tackles human-centric danger. To concentrate on the activities that impact most and hasten implementation of international data requirements, our security personnel use user-risk assessment. With a specific point of management for all the tools our employees use to generate, save, and transport data, it aids in the security of regulatory data.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

We now find it quite easy to put policy into action. Rules may be managed with ease using the website console's user-friendly layout. It works well with other solutions, like Data Classification techniques, Encryption tools, and many others, for more powerful DLP safeguards. It includes cyber security and restricts access to the entire website for other connections. Therefore, there is no risk of data theft or unforeseen cookies.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Terminal services can occasionally be automatically terminated, which can prevent some important events from being recorded and cause the loss of functionality like the graphical user interface chunk page updated screen. Block pages must now be modified using an API. Lack of flexibility in policy formation, delayed response times from supporters, and integrating difficulties can all be problems.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Additionally, it is simple to enforce numerous channels simultaneously in email or the web. Because of the fingerprinting security, no data is compromised. Additionally, it will limit all data as well as the network in case of an incident. For greater comprehension, reports are provided and surveillance history is provided. Looking back, we might now feel a sense of satisfaction for making the decision.

What differentiates Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention from other similar products?

We enforced time based mostly internet use. At lunch hour non work connected websites were liberated to use and other parts of the day staff had ½ hour to freely surf. Setting this informed Websense was a breeze and helped cut back initial complaints from end users throughout implementation. One more bonus of Websense was the ad/pop-up blocking.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It does a good job at stopping users from going to “infected” sites and sites that are undesirable. It’s a great range of flexibility and features. We’ve used it to lock down a server “production” laptop that require only a restricted amount of access to internet sites. It permits us to additionally filter by user/group/domain and even ip address or range. Implementation was a bit rough however once the merchandise is up and running it’s terribly stable.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It doesn’t filter Citrix users well. We are still operating around a user authentication issue on the Citrix boxes. This has not been resolved since we put in the appliances. I’ve contacted support many times and have received conflicting responses. Nobody has been ready to resolve the issue. Support could be a joke at the moment. Support employees have told us they’re unsure whether they can lose their jobs so they aren’t performing 100%.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Support has considerably improved. If you had asked me a year ago, if I might advocate force point, I might have said no. We’ve practiced some problems with our Citrix environment but although that it’s some nice options that we are exploiting and others that we have yet to implement.
