What differentiates FortiMail from other similar products?
Fortimail is very user friendly and it's easy to find emails you are looking for and what's being blocked.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Fortinet's online documentation for Fortimail is very useful and, clicking the "?" in the top right corner of any page within the fortimail will take you directly to the documentation for that section.
What do you dislike most about this product?
We've had a few emails we couldn't block because we could add a rule for an email using the sender as well as subject and/or body text.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
This is a very user friendly product and reduces the amount of time needed to administer an email appliance.

What differentiates FortiMail from other similar products?
Overall, the FortiMail antispam is a decent one. Given that it's a Fortinet product, the GUI is easy to understand and use. The main requirement would be to comprehend the email flow both before and after utilizing FortiMail. Knowing that, purchasing FortiMail is a no-brainer. The FortiGuard service is extremely well kept and current.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
With its several strong features, FortiMail may assist reduce the security threats in your email system. In particular, with the Antispam feature's capacity to distinguish Spam mail from a variety of information sources. FortiMail greatly reduces the volume of spam mail, which helps the Email Server's workload be optimized.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Large files cannot be sent using FortiMail, and the program takes longer to accept them even when they are compressed. Perhaps the developer should improve the app's compatibility. It might be very difficult to set up. In order to obtain the maximum performance out of the system, several parameters must also be regularly adjusted.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I consider the Fortimail to be a potent mail filtering tool with a ton of choices for personalization. Although I previously used a Barracuda mail firewall and believed that it had a more user-friendly interface, I do appreciate how seamlessly Fortimail works with the Fortigate Firewall and other Fortinet products. I've asked assistance a few times regarding configurations, and they've always been accommodating and helpful.

What differentiates FortiMail from other similar products?
Powerful antispam, antivirus and antimalware is a key part of Fortinet innovative advanced threat protection solution. Excellent real time dashboards, reporting, central quarantines and end user controls.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It helps filter out spam effectively, in addition to quarantining potential spam for later review.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Reports can be extensive when you'd like to filter out one specific type of misuse to flag
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
FortiMail is an awesome spam filter that prevents our company from receiving massive amounts of unwanted emails
