What differentiates FortiManager from other similar products?

FortiManager helps to centrally manage n number of Fortigate firewalls. Features like pushing the bulk of policies to firewalls, pushing updates, and configuring n number of firewalls from one console make this product stand out from other similar products.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

We can configure policies and schedule upgrades from one console.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Nothing much to say about this but the license cost is a bit high which bothers us.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I will recommend this product if you have more than 10 FortiGate firewalls in your infrastructure.

My favorite aspect of this product is its different deployment options (Appliance, VM, and Cloud)

What do you dislike most about this product?

The product could be more user-friendly

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would recommend anyone who has multiple sites with FortiGates deployed to get a FortiManager for a single pane of glass management

What differentiates FortiManager from other similar products?

It is one of the best device to centralise everything in your network related to fortinet, I dont think so it can be compared to some other products as each have their benefits but we like fortimanager due to its easy of use and features.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Centralization of all fortinet products and automation

What do you dislike most about this product?

there is nothign we dont like in fortimanager

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

At the moment no recommendation from our side we are happy with device
