In-built SD-WAN for branch office connectivity and Strong UTM Features

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Unlike traditional SD-WAN solutions, FortiGate SD-WAN includes firewall, IPS, and anti-malware security in a single appliance and Centralized Management using FortiManager & FortiAnalyzer

What do you dislike most about this product?

Limited Advanced Threat Protection, Built-in reports are not detailed and Less Third-Party Integration works best in Fortinet only environments

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Go for a FortiGate firewall that fits your business size. Make sure it has SD-WAN, security, and cloud support for strong protection and smooth internet performance

Affordable and performs well but its setup is more complicated. Cisco and Palo Alto offer easier management and better support

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Unique Security Processing Unit that makes security tasks faster, offering better performance and lower delays compared to other vendors

What do you dislike most about this product?

less intuitive compared to other vendors and limited support in some cases

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Affordable for small companies but its GUI is simple and TAC support is slower compared to Check Point or Cisco

What differentiates Fortinet Fortigate NGFW from other similar products?

FortiGate provide more advanced features as compared to other similar product also training modules and forums are easily available for each features and modules.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

FortiGate community which helps from any technical difficulty while making changes or implement, you can ask in forums and you will get reply asap.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Vendor support, as sometimes you will not get the expected results from them and the wait time is too much (sometimes).

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you want user friendly UI and to ease the administration and management just go for it, but the cost could be little higher from other similar products
