What differentiates GEP SMART from other similar products?

Built by procurement professionals for professional procurement organizations. The broad range of modules covers the full spectrum of procurement activities, and the out of the box features allows for rapid implementation and adoption.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Apart from the clean, intuitive interface, the customer success management and technical support team is what makes this platform great to use. Frontline technical support is very responsive and capable, while the customer success management team supports our efforts to drive more value from the platform.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The availability of so many out of the box features does limit the ability to tailor system behavior in some instances.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Be open to reviewing your existing processes (digital and otherwise) and improve/enhance those processes as you work to adopt to transition to SMART. While it is important to focus on minimizing/eliminating "pain points" in your current processes and system, do not lose sight of the positive aspects of your current environment as you'll want to ensure that those are translated properly as well, which the GEP implementation team handled very well in our transition to SMART.

What differentiates GEP SMART from other similar products?

I have not used any other system covering S2C capabilities, so difficult to compare. The spend module is excellent, as it provides a high number of reports for us.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Spend module with all the vendor & company PO data. This module allows the user to create their own reports to slice and dice the data to meet business requirements. It's very easy to use existing reports which have been created to show performance based on different time periods and covering different categories.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Nothing dislike about the product, it needs improvements such as integration between different modules rather having integration to company ERP separately for each module. For example payment term data is available in spend module but this data is not auto populated into the supplier module has to be connected to companies ERP system. Would it not make sense that integration across the module is available to have the possibility of view same data across different GEP smart modules.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would suggest that a lot of training support is offered any any company wanted to work with GEP Smart and explain how their current ERP systems are working what would be the best way to connect to GEP Smart to fully utilise this tool.
