What differentiates Gong from other similar products?
Gong has the ability to do Conversation Analytics, Deals and PIpeline Visibility, easily integrated to Salesforce, it also has the capability to do provide coaching and training guidelines based on a specific conversation, and it has AI driven Insights, which made it very efficient to any line of businesses that requires the following functions.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
What I really like about Gong is its Conversation Analytics capability. As an Account Manager, it gives me the ability to keep records of all my conversations to my clients, whether its a phone call or a meeting booked. This is very important as this allows me to have a better understanding of my customers needs - with my job, it is very important to identify my customer's preferences and discover if there are pain points as this I will allow me to tailor fit products and services that the team would recommend.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The only thing that Gong can improve on is the transcript that is being provided. The effectiveness of the conversation is highly dependednt to the quality of the data it analyzes. Let's say for example, if the call is being recorded poorly or if there are words spoken unclear, then Gong won't be able to recognize the correct word or information given.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Gong is one of I can say efficient tools or platforms that I have ever used and what I recommend mostly is first, the cost, an organization should consider on how this kind of platform will be very beneficial or if a company will be able to use the full potential of the system, then training materials and resources. Though Gong for me is very user friendly, if training resources won't be enough, then we might be loosing the use of the full functionality of this system.

What differentiates Gong from other similar products?
Great call recording and transcript quality, easy to share calls and provide call coaching and feedback. Mobile app is a bonus for listening to calls on the go

I really like the pipeline notification feature, sending you previous calls for upcoming meetings to quickly review if required

What differentiates Gong from other similar products?
The transcripts are more complete, at least in terms of differentiating who is speaking, because many other platforms tend to mix people up, making the transcripts sometimes meaningless. It's more structured with the transcripts; Gong's AI is more attuned to the context of the meeting, so it can easily provide me with the transcript in a document that provides a detailed summary of all the points discussed without losing any information. It takes notes more coherently, is more efficient at highlighting key points without having to write long, unnecessary sentences, and it also marks me in the videos where that note was taken.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It can be included in any session, in any call or video call. The configuration is not complicated at all. You can even add Gong as another participant in the conversation, but he will do the transcriptions and note-taking without me having to do it on my own.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The call analysis time is a bit slow. I don't like the delays when most artificial intelligence systems today perform analysis almost live. I understand that it takes time to process calls that are very long due to the large volume of data involved, but I don't understand why this happens during short call sessions with my clients. Sometimes the transcripts aren't entirely accurate. I'm not talking about who said what, but rather what was said. I've noticed errors in sentences that make no sense, and I've had to listen to the call to verify what the person actually said and then manually apply the correction.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
This tool is very useful as a personal assistant. I recommend Gong to individuals or companies that need a hand taking notes in meetings so they can focus on what clients or other company staff are saying during a conversation. Gong will be very helpful when reviewing video calls thanks to its automatic creation of bookmarks within a video, determining what was said at each point. You can also easily view the script in plain text if needed. The transcript and summary of the conversation are obtained almost instantly, allowing you to focus on what you need.
