What differentiates Google Authenticator from other similar products?

Google Authenticator is a smallest tiny authenticator with the ease of use with provides a super protection to the desired platform

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Two Way Authenticator Code generator Time based OTP

What do you dislike most about this product?

There is no alternate to those platform already integrated with Google Authenticator. So, the end-user to be careful with its use. If we lost with its services it can lead us to authentication to our desired platforms.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would suggest to the peers seeking authentication service. Go with the google Authenticator to have full of its advantages, the easiest and simplest. But before deploying it a full market research is important looking to the need of your organisation and employees.

What differentiates Google Authenticator from other similar products?

It's not that very different from similar products, in some ways lacks somewhat secure features, but, it works great with our specific needs.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The GUI is so easy to use, setting up 2FA for many apps and websites is a breeze.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It used to lack Cloud backup features, but, now that has been solved with the latest update, also, sometimes the app seems to be stuck, not showing new security keys after the 60 minutes frame.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you work using all the Google Workspace apps ( Gdocs, Gmail, GDrive, etc ) and need authentication for several apps and sites this will be a great solution to consider, and, even eventually use.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Google Authenticator allows you to access your authentication codes without needing an internet connection. This means you can still authenticate and log in to your accounts even when you don't have access to the internet or if the network is unreliable.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Google Authenticator cannot sync your accounts automatically across multiple devices. If you use the app on more than one device, you will have to set up and configure each device separately. This can be inconvenient, as you need to repeat the setup process and manually enter your account information on each device.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Google Authenticator codes work correctly, check that the time settings on your phone or tablet are accurate.
