What differentiates Google BigQuery from other similar products?

Ease of use. As it is very obvious with all the google products, it is very easy to use and works really well with other corresponding tools.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It has a very casual UI so that makes it easy to use. It integrates well other tools like BI tools and ETL tools.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Nothing really there to dislike about Bigquery. May be they can make the data warehouse a little fast.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you don't have a huge data then this is the answer. Look no further away, If you have a huge data and you repeatedly process hundreds of millions of rows, then you still may consider Bigquery. Only difference is that in the first case Bigquery is the obvious winner.

What differentiates Google BigQuery from other similar products?

BigQuery is a fully managed, serverless data warehouse that handles all aspects of storage and maintenance, allowing users to focus on analyzing data rather than managing infrastructure. This serverless approach is a significant differentiator from traditional data warehouses that require server management. BigQuery is deeply integrated with other GCP services, like Google Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Dataproc, and Pub/Sub, providing a comprehensive cloud analytics solution within the Google ecosystem.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect of Google BigQuery is its serverless, fully managed architecture. This feature significantly reduces the complexity and overhead associated with managing a traditional data warehouse. The fact that I don't need to worry about server maintenance or infrastructure scaling allows me to focus entirely on analyzing data and gaining insights.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I do not really understand its primary purpose as in why it was built.
