What differentiates Google Chat from other similar products?

Google Chat stands out because it’s deeply integrated with Google Workspace apps like Gmail, Drive, and Calendar. This makes sharing files, scheduling meetings, and collaborating seamless if you’re already in the Google ecosystem.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favourite thing about Google Chat is how smoothly it works with Gmail and Google Drive. Being able to chat and share files without switching apps really helps keep conversations and work connected.

What do you dislike most about this product?

What I dislike most is that Google Chat lacks some of the advanced features found in competitors, like robust message threading and app integrations. It can feel a bit basic for teams needing more complex collaboration tools.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you’re already using Google Workspace, Google Chat is a convenient choice for simple team communication. However, if you need advanced features or extensive app integrations, you might want to explore other options or wait for future updates.
