What differentiates Google Chat from other similar products?

Google account handles chat automatically and it is very easy to transform when you change devices, it syncs awesomely, all thanks goes to google for it. It is much similar to hangout by google so old people in industry are well versed to use google chat. Earlier in my old days I also used it in Gmail itself. No other software is as much widespread as this.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Using google chat we can make video and voice calls which I missed in many other solutions during my selection process. It also gives us ease to sync through devices seamlessly which is again a string point over others and also google is providing many similar alternatives to it. so collaborating is very easy.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It is not a different thing from google hangout also you don't get features like replying by swipes and glide typing. it would be much better if google chat can automate calendars and mail into it as it is product of google. So it can make mails and calendar events from chat itself using shortcuts.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you are old school person and beginner to IT world you can learn from Google products like Chat, hangout, meet, gmail. workstation etc. But fora complete suit you can go for Bitrix 24 as well. even a gmail chat feature can compete Google chat completely

What differentiates Google Chat from other similar products?

Google Chat is the great platform for communication and it is extremely user-friendly and adapts to multiple devices (especially on mobile). It is great open-source platform for coordination and communication. It is mainly useful for the group chats and video chat functions. End users can schedule meetings from inside the chat itself. Unlike other platforms, the messages are secured and protected by the Google Security, which end-user can immensely trust.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The best aspect of Google Chat is that it is simple, easy to use, user friendly UI and provides global search in all chats. Google Chat allows communication across time zones without any worries or problems. It has a good collection of emojis and other GIFs to make the communication more interesting. It has a smart reply feature which is useful when end user not feel good for writing.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Google Chat isn't efficient for sharing large files, videos and images. There is a limit for joining the video call to more people simultaneously.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Google Chat is great if any end-user is using Google Suite. But there are many other advanced applications than Google Chat. As far as I considered, Google Chat can be good alternative but cannot be main stream.

1. It shows you when someone is typing. 2. It lets you share files and high-resolution photos.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

1. The bandwidth usage is less so seamless operation while using it for business communications. 2. The use of the google account to login into the application makes it easy for me since I use google workspace in my work to accomplish a lot in my work. 3. Cross-platform synchronization whereby google chat can be used on any device with a different OS. It does not require you to be on an Android device only. Rather it is compatible with iOS and Windows too. 4.Video Conferencing whereby you can make a video conference call with up to 10 members.

What do you dislike most about this product?

1. It cannot set a status whereby you cannot set online status customization it only shows online or offline status. Sometimes you are away or busy or want to inform your contacts about any other state you are in that you cannot.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It is a perfect chatting application and an organization that has adopted a google account as the standard can find it very useful and can be able to utilize all the features that it comes with.
