Convenient platform for eLearning!!

Likeliness to Recommend

8 /10

What differentiates Google Classroom from other similar products?

This is a good platform to connect teachers and students in a virtual environment. Last two years, the whole world faced difficult situations in day-to-day activities due to the Covid-19 pandemic. There, we experienced an interruption to traditional learning mechanisms and have to adopt eLearning in a virtual environment. In such instances, platforms like Google Classroom did a great job regarding eLearning. In this platform, we can add our materials either as a google drive folder, a file, or a link. And also, supports the creation of other Google products such as Docs, Slides, Sheets, Drawings, etc.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Google Classroom is a simple interface that can use for education purposes. It is a totally free platform that facilitates eLearning in this pandemic situation.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Google Classroom is where students need their own Google account in order to participate. One of the main reasons that Google Classroom cannot fully replace the Learning Management System (LMS) is that it doesn’t facilitate automated quizzes or tests for learners. When all students upload their materials at once, the platform is less responsive.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Take some time to explore Google Classroom's features and settings before you start using it with your students. This will help you understand how the platform works and how to use it effectively.

Pros

  • Enables Productivity

What differentiates Google Classroom from other similar products?

1. Google Classroom integrates seamlessly with other Google tools, such as Drive and Gmail. This allows teachers to easily create, assign, and grade work within a single platform. 2. It has an easy-to-use interface that makes it straightforward for teachers and students to access assignments, turn in documents, and communicate with one another. 3. The platform is highly secure and offers the option for teachers to approve certain activities before students post or complete them. 4. It supports different learning styles with interactive elements like questions, discussion topics, video embedding, collaborative documents.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect of Google Classroom is the way it streamlines the process of organizing and delivering classroom content. It provides a straightforward platform for users to create materials, assign tasks, communicate with students and receive real-time feedback on their work. Having these tools in one place saves time and reduces unnecessary effort, making it easier to focus more on teaching. Additionally, the fact that it’s part of the larger Google family of apps also means that teachers can easily integrate other Google services into their classrooms to create an even more complete instructional experience.

What do you dislike most about this product?

One of the things I dislike most about Google Classroom is that it can be difficult to navigate and quickly locate information. With larger classes, you can easily become overrun with updates, assignments, and activity streams that make it hard to get a clear overview of what's happening within the classroom. Additionally, there are limited options for customizing and organizing content in the classroom, making it difficult to personalize the class experience for students.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

1. Utilize Google Classroom's features and tools like automatically creating agendas, grading assignments and providing feedback to reinforce instruction as part of your classroom experience. 2.Customize your class settings to tailor the learning environment for maximum student engagement. 3.Take advantage of integration with other Google Apps like Chrome, Docs and Sheets to create collaborative projects and interactive activities (drive collections, quizzes, polls). 4.Encourage students to use the Classwork page to keep track of their tasks and due dates in one place..

Pros

  • Helps Innovate
  • Continually Improving Product
  • Performance Enhancing
  • Enables Productivity

Cons
