What do you dislike most about this product?

Just a suggestion to enable greater adoption via price point reduction.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

HeadSpin takes this technology and its utility very seriously. Also, consider who you trust your data with most against the competition.

What differentiates HeadSpin from other similar products?

Headspin cloud support and Performance testing is better than browserstack. Headspin Network recording feature makes it unique in the market due to this feature we were able record problematic network parameters that enhanced our application performance. Viewing recorded tests and snapshots made it easier to view errors and make strategic decisions.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I loved Network recording feature which gave the ability to see parts of application where unnecessary data was being consumed. We pushed parallel testing to limits and added 100 devices to run them parallelly and to my surprise it out performed due efficient load balancing of Pboxes.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Reporting Dashboard is my most disliked part as they are using third party Grafana and it did not please clients with high expectations so we have to create our own reporting dashboard from scratch and integrated it with Headspin. On premises management of devices requires a lot of patience and support from the Headspin team. The support is good but still devices coverage was not good 20% of our devices remained offline and troubleshooting just continued throughout the project.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

This is a very good product if you are looking to improve the performance of your application and doing scalability testing. Besides integration of AI and ML pipelines is innovative and data management is getting better everyday. Cloud farming is good as we get real devices and network recording makes issues easier to reproduce due to advent of video and screen recording. Overall this is a good platform but a little bit expensive if your needs are small.

What differentiates HeadSpin from other similar products?

HeadSpin will give you detailed performance metrices how your system behaves. You can also add your own device on their cloud using their "Bring Your Own Device" feature.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The performance testing. Wherein you can easily record your entire session (maximum of 2 hrs) and you can get the entire performance metrics for it. You can easily read the graphs for e.g. Memory, CPU %, Battery Consumption, etc.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Maybe the availability of the devices since it will be charged per device.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

HeadSpin gives us the ability to test our games' performance and able to profile it on the devices that real people use everyday. This is extremely helpful for testing the mobile experience, it also helps us identify issues and bugs to our games that consuming high CPU %, Memory %, Battery % consumption, etc. It really saves us time to monitor our games performance on the devices to make sure we can give the best gaming experience to our customers.
