What differentiates IBM Cognos Analytics from other similar products?

Unlike other similar software, IBM Cognos helps us generate analytical data reports from our ERP system that is hosted on OS400 BMI in a matter of minutes.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

- Integration with other BI tools. - Integration with Excel. - Some reports can be exported in pdf or excel format. - I can consult and process analytical data. - I can export reports to PowerPoint.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Some features are available through third-party integrations.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

IBM Cognos Analytics with Watson is a powerful tool, it is complicated for novice users, it integrates reporting, visual data analysis for easy troubleshooting.

What differentiates IBM Cognos Analytics from other similar products?

Accessing IBM COGNOS Sharing data or information with others within the same company is easy. Its integration with Microsoft Excel makes it extremely easy for us to share important details with other colleagues.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I thoroughly enjoy working directly at IBM for consultation and data collection and reporting.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It's not a good idea to work with Python.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It is an extremely powerful BI solution. It offers integration with third-party tools, you can also send fully exportable reports in PDF or XML format through emails.
