What differentiates IBM Cognos Analytics from other similar products?

The cognitive features are the best as the power of AI can be used to train and visualize the prediction of the trend in the data. Apart from that the capacity of scalability is very good as large volumes of data can be handled easily and user-access control security features make it stand out.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

As a Data Analyst, my favorite aspect is the data visualization capacity. It has more visuals and color theme selection options. Also, the story telling via dashboards is easy and effective.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It is a bit complex product as there are many features available but the learning curve is very steep. It takes a lot of time to understand how to use different features. Initial Data transformation steps are very tricky to do in this software as compared to others like cleaning and wrangling of data.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Kindly do a handful of training and practice a couple of projects before using it in production.
