What differentiates IBM Cognos Analytics from other similar products?

A major difference lies in the missing of the values present in the data set. it has numerous options to products.it has huge number of the categories so that we can choose many of them. All the dataset present in the system are maximum daily covered use across the system.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

One of the thing that impressed me about the security of the product and handling the data at an ease. Major of the data is sampled to get the accurate details. It has good predictive sense. The use of algorithm for the analysis is very efficient and considered the majority of use cases.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There are more Pros than cons for the cognos. But It there are some places where for some languages the doatasets are not upto the mark. I suggest you to provide more datasets for the colab packages

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

there are much take away from the product. dataset for the analysis is beyond the expectation. It improved alot for the KPI's system

As these tools come under Business Intelligence, but they target different users in the market. Also, there is a considerable difference between Tableau and IBM Cognos tools. Reading this Tableau vs Cognos article will definitely give you a clear vision of which is the best tool for you.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

A flexible, intuitive interface that allows users to easily connect to and explore data from a wide range of sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and cloud-based applications. Advanced analytics capabilities, including predictive modeling, data visualization, and natural language generation, that help users to uncover insights and make better data-driven decisions. Robust security and governance features that help organizations to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of their data, and to meet regulatory compliance requirements.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Complexity: Depending on the complexity of an organization's data and analytics needs, IBM Cognos Analytics may have a steep learning curve for some users. It may take some time to become proficient with the software and to fully leverage its capabilities. Cost: IBM Cognos Analytics is a powerful and feature-rich platform, but it may be more expensive than some other business intelligence and analytics tools on the market. This could be a concern for organizations with limited budgets.

What differentiates IBM Cognos Analytics from other similar products?

IBM cognos analytics providing enterprise print ready reporting features which currently requires in banking sector which is not available in other reporting tools like tableau. It also has in memory cubes functionality which provide data very fast.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Print ready report Good for enterprise reporting We can integrate report in any application Support multiple database and Excel sheets as data source Integrated with AI feature which is awesome Provide high availability functionality with different routing rules on each dispatcher Dashboard and story telling features are out of the box solutions It's support both Linux and windows platform Cognos mobile feature very helpful to full report and dashboard where ever you want

What do you dislike most about this product?

I does not provide out of the box visualization features as compared to tableau
