What differentiates IBM Db2 from other similar products?

The most important aspect, in my opinion, is that it is a reliable database. Furthermore, data reliability is strong, as evidenced by simultaneous access control.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Although it is not as important as Oracle, SQL Server, and others, it has unique features such as cluster replication that are not present in other DBMS. It is compatible with UNIX, Linux, and Windows versions, as well as other major operating systems.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There is nothing special that could be improved, but I would like it to be more user-friendly while still being strong.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It is not essential to understand it on the program side because it can be accessible by a big number of people at the same time and can be managed only by a database. I was able to replicate a read-only database and publish the public database without stressing the update database. The execution plan, like those of other major DBMSs, is determined automatically. Because the number of licenses is determined differently depending on the CPU model number, the licensing system is critical.

What differentiates IBM Db2 from other similar products?

It is used by IBM AS400, and despite the fact that our business has a large amount of data, it is stable since it has a quick response, excellent data processing capabilities, and functions as a hardware standard. Furthermore, because tools for building with Java and PHP exist, we used them in conjunction with the development of the WEB browser system, etc., and the response was faultless.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

In terms of theming, usability, and responsiveness, the process is good since there is no waste, strange buggy movement, no text because traffic is used, and no burden on the line.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The task itself is easy, such as changing the database layout and the number of digits and attributes, but it takes time, such as recompiling the software. It is tough to keep track of records after a crash.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Because it may be used for general purposes, it can be adapted to any system. Furthermore, because just one technician may make changes, unforeseen customer changes can be accommodated. It was possible to develop it smoothly since there were tools and other resources accessible depending on the system to be linked with, such as Windows, UNIX, and LINUX. Furthermore, due to the old technology's reliability and know-how, it is easier to integrate the database than alternative options.
