What differentiates Infor PLM Discrete from other similar products?

Infor PLM Discrete stands out because it works well with Infor ERP, making it easier for teams to keep track of product data. Unlike some other PLM tools, it connects engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain smoothly without much extra setup. It’s really helpful for managing BOMs and tracking changes to keep things accurate and compliant. However, the interface isn’t the easiest to use, and it takes a bit of time to get familiar with it.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like how easily it connects with Infor ERP, so all product data stays in one place. It helps different teams, like engineering and manufacturing, work together smoothly. The BOM management and change tracking are also really handy for keeping everything organized and accurate.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The interface feels a bit outdated and not very user-friendly, which makes it harder to navigate. It takes a while to learn, and some tasks feel more complicated than they should be. I also wish there were more customization options to better fit different business needs.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If your company already uses Infor ERP, this PLM is a good choice because it connects everything in one place. But keep in mind that the interface isn’t the easiest to use, so it takes some time to get used to. I’d suggest trying it out first to make sure it fits your needs, especially if you need a lot of customization.

We can easily do an engineering changes and can easily save data, like drawings documents and others.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Process for approval, and Item creation on the main landing page are also intuitive.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Datafiles require a powerful graphics card.
