What differentiates Informatica Data Integration from other similar products?

The cloud integration aspects of the tool is very enticing. The tool helps with performing highly complex data transformations and the mappings are relatively easy to comprehend.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Easy drag and drop features, appealing tool to work with in terms of heterogenous Databases. Validation of connections are easy.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The tool licensing cost is a bit pricey. With wrong design, the performance could take a major hit.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It's a great ETL tool overall. However, evaluate other tools like Informatica Power Center, Abinitio, Talend etc and build a prototype to confirm which of these tools best serves your business needs.

Great tool to try out. if approached with an open mind the use cases this tool solves is endless. It handles most of the batch and real time integration use cases
