What do you dislike most about this product?
The main downside of Intercom is its high pricing, which can be prohibitive for smaller businesses. Some advanced features, like detailed reporting, are also only available on the more expensive plans.

Great usage tracking for success teams

What differentiates Intercom from other similar products?
I have not used similar products to speak to this responsibly.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I really appreciated the analytics we received and the ability to customize permissions and set roles for our many different employees. The admin settings were quite intuitive.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The product is really easy to get cluttered and overwhelming, particularly if nobody owns the data integrity of the product.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If the business side is not clearly owned with established guard rails, it's very easy for the platform to get cluttered... particularly with tags and customers. Be sure to have an enablement or operations resource in charge of keeping the data healthy and integrity strong. Do not assign this responsibility to IT or to a front-line resource who doesn't have the capacity to be an admin or the power to set and enforce rules.
