JAMF Pro is a worthwhile investment!
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Jamf Pro from other similar products?
ADCS integration, higher level of log reporting per policy, more granular deployment options
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Simplicity and the JAMF Nation community.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There are still a lot of things not built in that you have to customize and utilize third party apps on GitHub to integrate. As an example, there isn’t a native zero touch deployment toolkit built in like Kandji provides.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
JAMF is an excellent choice and worth the money and value if you have 50 or more devices (macOS and/or iOS/iPadOS). Anything less and you might want to look at Kandji instead. If your environment is very barebones for management needs, Intune is another alternative that is being continuously improved upon every month.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing
