What differentiates Joomla! from other similar products?

Joomla! was an awesome platform when it was released, and gained popularity due to its templating capabilities. It was one of a kind at a point where devs had to build CMSs and simple applications on their own.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It was robust. I haven't used it in a while, but it never really let me down, and I was able to power a large traffic website using it.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Joomla! stayed in the past. Didn't follow WordPress steps, didn't evolve towards a less categorical approach to content administration, it stayed way too hierarchical. Also, design-wise, the templates and most communication (even the website) is not modern and is not something a modern developer would start off as of 2021.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Try something with a more modern approach, maybe with a static deployment. Unless you really need to continue using it, I think there are better alternatives out there (I would look at a JAMstack approach, maybe with a headless/decoupled CMS).

What differentiates Joomla! from other similar products?

Joomla is different because it is a CMS that has been built to help beginners and also the experienced developers to create websites.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

There is a variety of templates to get started on. Creating complex and agile websites with Joomla is easy. The community of Joomla is big and very helpful when someone gets stuck. Joomla helps to manage the ages well and on a regular basis make updates. Joomla guarantees security and integrity of content so there are no unauthorized access. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is made easy with Joomla. The add-on and extensions and extensions on Joomla are a a lot to support the many feartures.

What do you dislike most about this product?

After using Joomla for over two years now , we can confidently say that there is nothing to dislike about tha]e platform.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I highly recommend Joomla CMS for the creation of online websites and applications that are safe and secure and whose content will be easily managed from the CMS.

What differentiates Joomla! from other similar products?

Joomla has a more advanced user management scheme, which can be handy if your website is meant to be managed by multiple people. The same goes for multilingual support. With Joomla, you can set up multilingual sites right out the box
