What differentiates Lucidspark from other similar products?
Lucidspark is more feature-rich than other tools in its category while still maintaining fantastic user-friendliness. In addition, Lucid Software offers top-notch training for free to help users maximize its capabilities.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I love how Lucidspark brings discussions in all formats (asynchronous, virtual, or in-person) to life, giving all individuals a chance to contribute their ideas. Lucidspark offers wonderful templates to help facilitators creatively design sessions. Participants can respond in a variety of ways using sticky notes, shapes, images, GIFs, and even video recordings. Ideas can be connected, sorted, voted on, and more.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Virtual whiteboards can always feel intimidating to users when they are getting started. That said, Lucidspark has standout features to help individuals navigate the infinite canvas (ie: using paths, table of contents).
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Engage with the training Lucid offers. It will not only help you use the product well but will also help you be a better leader/facilitator/presenter.

Lucid is essential for distributed teams
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Lucidspark from other similar products?
Lucidspark is Jira integration is essential for any product team or business operations team. The ease of use and centralized of resources makes this invaluable for teams that have remote or distributed teams. The Jira integration allows product teams to visualize their work like never before while the integrations by syncing both Lucid and JIra data. The amount of features for Lucidspark is significant and Lucid continues to add more and more great features. Some of the features like frames allows the presented to lock certain objects or hide objects on the board until the presenter is ready to talk about it.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
One of my favorite features is their new AI feature that allows Generative AI that can create content ideas and spark collaboration. The Generative AI feature will also categorize ideas for the user based on the subject. This reduces the need for the facilitator to categorize ideas for the team. For example, this can categorize Jira stories for a scrum master to guide a product team of what type of stories are left to develop or this can help a product manager spot trends on the type of work in a product roadmap.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The one area of opportunity for Lucidspark is lacking of intelligent roadmapping tool. I would like to see a tool that integrates Jira dependencies for epics and stories. This would allow product managers and product leaders to see how impediments/technical debt impact the project.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would recommend working the Lucid team on uses cases that have worked for companies and see their lessons learned with working with Lucid. I would see what specific use cases you are looking to solve with Lucid. Overall the experience with Lucid has been overwhelming positive.
